Welcome to Night Owl Studio – where rule-breakers, rebels, and unforgettable celebrations come to play.
We’re not your typical wedding or event venue – and we mean that in the best way possible. Our blank-canvas warehouse space is here to help you throw the kind of event people talk about for years.
Moody velvet curtains. Polished concrete floors. A glowing neon wall with exclusive lounge seating. Night Owl Studio is where rebellious romance meets rock ’n’ roll energy — and every event gets to write its own rules.
Weddings, parties, engagements, hens, birthdays, kids parties, gigs, pop-ups, and everything in between — if it’s bold, we’re in. Bring in your favourite food trucks, private chefs or grazing feasts. Pair it with curated cocktails from our bar, full use of the space, a giant screen, and no one else around but your crew.

If you're going BYO, you’ll need to book our licensed Venue Host ($550.00 for min 10hrs)
They’ll keep things smooth, legal, and make sure no one’s mixing mystery punch in the greenroom.
🎂 21st to 25th BirthdaysFor all events celebrating 21st–25th birthdays, our in-house bar must be booked.
This is non-negotiable — it's about safety, crowd control, and good vibes only.
🧼 Cleaning IncludedAll hire prices already include cleaning and GST — you focus on the party, we’ll handle the aftermath.
🎤 Live Music & DJsYes please! Just let us know what you’re planning so we can sort AV, sound checks, and keep the neighbours happy.

To protect the experience for all our guests and neighbours, Night Owl Studio doesn’t host 18th birthdays, bucks nights, kink or burlesque/risky -themed events or raves. We specialise in creative, intimate and meaningful events — and we’re here for those who want to do things a little differently, in all the best ways. 🫶

Venue Hire Fee for Night Owl Studio Includes:
· Exclusive use of the indoor space
· In house speakers with 1x wireless microphone
· Basic lighting (lighting set to your theme and is not interchangeable)
· LED screen with 1x visual looped , 1x static image or
connection to your personal device with HDMI cable
· Small selection of onsite furniture
· BYO Catering for food available (NB: No kitchen facilities are available)

· Air-con, heating, fans and outdoor heater
· Outdoor Laneway accessibility with feature lighting (restricted access from 5.30pm)

A: From weddings and milestone birthdays to live gigs, workshops, product launches, immersive brand activations, kids parties, theatre shows, school concerts, regular dance lessons... if it’s bold, creative or a little unexpected, it belongs here.

A: Comfortably up to 80 seated or 100 standing, but we can play with the layout to suit your vibe. Want cocktail-style or a long-table dinner under the disco ball? We’re in.

A: All hires include tables, chairs, sound system, basic lighting, cleaning, and access to the outdoor laneway. Need extra magic (like a haze machine or epic mood lighting)? We've got upgrades too.

A: Yes! BYO is available for certain event types (NOT the live music quiz nights!), but you'll need to book one of our venue hosts to oversee service. ($550.00 flat fee applies.) The drinks options are either BYO (You provide all drinks, ice, glassware and bar staff) OR hiring the Night Owl Bar with staff inc service and we take care of everything. It’s either one or the other, you can’t combine both.

A: We’re food-flexible. You can bring in your fave caterer, food trucks, or grazing stylists. We’ve got a list of epic vendors if you need recs. At the moment we don’t have access to kitchen facilities.

Our curfew is 12am. Our music and bar curfew is at 11:30pm to allow time for guests to depart by Midnight.

A: Plenty! Free street parking on Boag Place and in the car park in front of the Karate Centre (we are down the driveway - no parking here!)

A: Absolutely. We’re a blank canvas. Share with us your vision, hang your disco balls (not on the paintwork), or bring in your floral throne. Just no glitter bombs or confetti cannons without chatting to us first.

A: Bump-in is usually 2 hours before your event, and bump-out is 1 hour after. Need more time? Or prefer to come back the following day? Let’s chat - extra hours can be arranged for a fee.

Yes! Depending on your event and bar setup, we’ll include the right crew: bar staff, tech support (luxe extra), and venue host (BYO option only) We make sure your night runs as smooth as your first drink.

A: Yes, general cleaning is included in your hire fee. You are responsible for taking your belongings with you and disposing of rubbish in the bins provided. External food and grazing tables are the responsibility of you to dispose of. Additional cleaning fees will apply if food is left in the venue. Cigarete butts on the ground or in pots will also incur an additional cleaning fee.

A: Easy as. Choose your date, we’ll send the pricing, you pay a 50% booking fee to lock it in. The rest is due 14 days before your event. Done and dusted.

A: We get it... life happens. Your booking fee is non-refundable and we can usually help shift your date with enough notice (See T+C’s for full policy). Hit us up early if plans change.
